All three courses with Paula have been excellent. Paula really seems to care that her students have fun, learn lots of PMC techniques, and go home with lovely jewellery they can be proud of. Her long experience in traditional silvermithing adds a little something extra too, as she's happy to demonstrate traditional silversmithing techniques (like making head pins or jump rings) where possible. Thoroughly recommended.

I was bought a kit for Christmas and decided to attend the Intro course to learn how to use PMC. The kit came with instructions and I watched several videos on the internet but I found it much better to have Paula demonstrate and answer questions as I went along. She is excellent at adapting the session to suit peoples creativity. I was really glad I had the opportunity to do a torch fire under her guidance before using it at home. I would have probably melted the silver or worse set fire to my kitchen!The stone setting course built on the skills of the intro course. It was more tricky and Paula made it look very easy. One of my pieces broke and her guidance on how to mend and adapt the piece was fantastic. It turned out to be the one I wear the most! Paula's studio is very well equiped with a multitude of tools, cutters and texture sheets. The texture sheets were different the second time and she doesn't put out too much choice so you aren't overwhelmed. She keeps you well fueled on tea, coffe and biscuits. I have enjoyed both my courses and using what I learnt am able to make silver jewellery at home. I have got my supplies from her and I found the pricing competitive and service excellent. I hope to go on a ring making course very soon.

Paula provides an excellent introduction to working with PMC. She is very knowledgeable about the product and explains it to her students in laymans terms. Her workshop is extremely well equiped and in a lovely setting.You feel you can ask Paula any questions even if it is something she has already covered, she is extremely patient. Paula's aim is that her students will leave at the end of the day with several pieces of beautiful jewellery that they are proud to have made. An excellant workshop experience.

This was the first time I had worked with PMC and I found the experience magical and thoroughly enjoyable.She made us all very welcome and ensured we had everythng we needed to make sure that we succeeded in making some beautifil jewelery. The classes are exciting and Paula takes you through the processes step by step. The workshop is very well equipped, is comfortable and is set is beautiful surroundings. I would like to go back again to increase the skills I have acquired on the course.
